CHALHOUB Group join forces to create “Unity For Change - أفــــــــــــــــق” in partnership with LVMH, EMAAR Malls Management (L.L.C), Majid Al Futtaim Properties LLC, and Aldar Properties PJSC.
This pioneering partnership of its kind in the Middle East, between prominent retailers and real estate developers in the Emirates, focuses on energy efficiency, clean energy, eco-design, water, and waste management.
This alliance embodies Sustainable Development Goal 17, "Partnership for goals." vividly illustrating the necessity of cross-sector collaboration in achieving overarching sustainability aims. It mirrors the necessity for collective action and effort to confront global challenges and advance towards a resolutely sustainable and inclusive future.
The cooperation specifically aims to enhance understanding and management of energy consumption across the entities’ properties, tenant stores, and landlords’ common areas, while also developing a comprehensive eco-design checklist, polling resources for clean energy purchases to optimize energy consumption, cooperating in chilled water management and air conditioning to enhance efficiency, as well as other initiatives.
